Harriman Extends Support to Residents Affected by the Tai Po Fire

09 Jan 2026

Following the Tai Po Fire incident on 26 November 2025, Harriman swiftly mobilised its property management network, resources, and volunteers team to provide timely and appropriate support to the affected families. This initiative reflects our strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and our care for the community.

The day after the incident, Harriman launched a donation drive across 42 managed properties, appealing to residents through our Customer Service Centres to donate essential supplies. The community responded enthusiastically. Within 24 hours, we coordinated and delivered the first batch of relief materials to Lok Sin Village (LSV), including approximately 2,000 pieces of clothing, 150 small home appliances, and 600 bedding items. Over 20 Harriman Volunteers assisted in sorting, packing, and distributing the items to ensure immediate support reached families in need. In the following days, additional materials donated by residents, communities, and our cleaning contractor were also delivered to LSV.

Beyond material assistance, the Harriman Volunteers Team visited LSV on 30 December 2025 to deliver special “Care Packs” to the affected residents. Each pack included snacks sourced from social enterprises eshop330 and Hello Cocoa, along with a positive wellness message card provided by the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (NLPRA). These messages were designed to bring warmth, encouragement, and emotional support to those affected residents.

To ensure our support remains aligned with the residents’ growing needs, Harriman’s dedicated team has maintained close communication with LSV’s representatives. We continue to leverage our property management network to source and deliver necessary supplies, accompanying the community through every step of the recovery journey.

Harriman remains committed to standing alongside the community, providing care and practical support to families affected by the fire as we work together to overcome this difficult time.
