Walking with the Community: Harriman and Caritas Join Hands for a Home Safety Sharing Session and Home Visit Programme
Harriman is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by supporting those in need through a wide range of community care initiatives. On 25 July 2026, we partnered once again with the Caritas Integrated Family Service Centre - Aberdeen and, for the first time, visited Yue Ying Lau, part of the Yue Kwong Chuen Redevelopment Project in Aberdeen, to organise a Home Safety Sharing Session and Home Visit Programme. Through this initiative, we demonstrated our commitment to supporting underprivileged families and elderly people living alone within the community.
During the event, the Harriman volunteer team visited residents of Yue Ying House and distributed gift packs sourced from social enterprises. In addition, a home safety sharing session was specially arranged to introduce practical home safety knowledge to elderly residents, helping them create a safer and more secure living environment.
Through this meaningful initiative, we not only extended our care and support to local residents, but also sought to promote the spirit of "helping people to help themselves" through knowledge sharing. By strengthening connections within the community, we hope to contribute to building a more caring and inclusive society.
Looking ahead, we will continue to uphold the "We Are Harriman" spirit and work hand in hand with our partners to support community programmes and create a positive impact on society.
