Secretary for the Environment Visited Lexington Hill
Lexington Hill participated in the “Community Involvement Project on Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Charging” to get residents prepared for MSW and conduct necessary preparatory work.
Officials of Green Council and Environmental Protection Department (EPD) together with the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing visited Lexington Hill on 17 July 2019 to learn more about how Lexington Hill prepares for the upcoming charging arrangement. Mr. Ricky Wong, Managing Director of Wheelock Properties and Ms. Grace Cheung, Senior Manager of Property Management of Harriman accompanied our honourable guests during this visit.
Officials of Green Council organized a presentation on “How to measure the weight of garbage” and present to all attendees. Our team is environmental conscious and we work wholeheartedly with our residents to protect the environment, we implemented various measures, such as placing recycle bins and encouraging residents to properly dispose of their recyclable waste so as to reduce landfill and conserve natural resources. Harriman will continue exerting our efforts to enhance community sustainability.
